I'm surprised nobody got around to starting this thread before now, but I, for one, am very glad the Cowboys lost last night. (One, I always like to see the Cowboys lose, and two it allows the Packers to play the NFC Championship at home.) Now it's time for the Packers to dismiss the Giants, and return to the Super Bowl. I'd sure like to see them derail the onrushing train that is the Patriots.

I loved it too and I'm sure Jessica loved it also! Jones said he wouldn't fire Phillips earlier - now what do you think? I loved the fire in the Giants, big D and Eli's bullet to Amani for the goalline TD was great. I also liked Brandon firing the ball into the clock after his score. That's better than some stupid dance or TO shenanigan, imho!

The frozen tundra awaits Brett's destiny and Eli's Coming Out (no diss to Three Dog Night ;) )!

btw - I'm no Giant fan (although I was in some long ago past in NY - seeing them play in the Polo Grounds and YS - Gifford, Summerall, Chuck Conerly, etc., notwithstanding) having crossed to the other side with Joe Willie (who beat those Colts!).

Nothing like waking up to a crying TO on SportsCenter this morning.

I grew up hating the Cowboys worse than I hate the Yankees now. But then one of our local boys, Jason Witten, got drafted by big D.

So there I was yesterday, pulling for ... the Cowboys! The horror! It doesn't feel right wearing those shoes, but I like Witten too much to against him.

Hopefully he'll get his shot next year at a Super Bowl.

Personally, I thought Romo played that fourth quarter like a chicken with his head cut off. If he'd have performed a little more calmly, perhaps things would have been different.

I love the Cowboys because they won me $500 yesterday.

Yeah - Witten's a load. I saw an interview on M&M last week and they showed the run he made sans helmet last year, I guess. He was in Mexico with T&J also! It's ok to show allegiance to your "boys", though! I know what you mean.
