I have not been much concerned about rep points since I started posting, but I took a look at my situation just now and I'd like to know why I got lit up for basing bigbird when I was supporting BB and he knew it!?! I made a joke, which he understood, responded in kind to, and yet some of you who need to go to the school for kids who don't read good, decided to light me on fire. It would not have bothered me in the least if it were a few, but after being largely ignored for two months, I make two comments and suddenly people are rallying round their man because I'm some newb? Thanks for the welcome! Maybe some of you should try brail instead and get off my back. If I'm a donkey, I'm not going to complain because I deserve it. VaTech might give me some negative rep, and I would understand because he and I had it out, but otherwise, be responsible with your rep points and learn to read!

Were you being sarcastic or facetious? That's very easy to misconstrue, especially if noone knows you.

Feel better? Nothing you can do about negative rep. It's not like there's some right/wrong litmus that'll guide folks. You'll be okay, promise.

It seems the red has been flying around lately because lots of posters are in a tizzy about whether Bedard and Roberts will be traded. If/when they do get moved, I think the board will become a lot friendlier again.

Sometimes a simple note in a PM can fix bad feelings between negative reppers.
