View Full Version : Incredible game tonight...Caps beat Penguins!

The Caps played an absolutely incredible game tonight against the Penguins. Back and forth all game, including a late game-tying goal and surviving a 5 on 3 power play in overtime. Semin's shootout backhander clinched the win against the hated Pittsburgh Penguins. The win puts the Caps officially above .500 for the first time this season and only one point out of the playoffs.

The Caps are so exciting to watch now. They really looked great last night. Olie got off to a slow start, but he played pretty well in the 3rd and OT. I thought they were in trouble when they got 2 men down in OT, but the defense really played well. Kozlov has been great lately. Backstrom has back-to-back 4 point games. This team is just on a roll. I hope it keeps up.

Amazing game. They have got to be the most exciting team to watch in the NHL now. Backstrom is forcing himself into ROY contention. You are going to see this line a ton for the next 10 years...

Green is also playing very well. They have quite a few young guys that could play here for years to come. Finally exciting hockey is back.
