Uh...nope. You pretty much drive there, watch the game, then leave. The only thing within walking distance is Freshman dorms. Don't get any ideas. :D
It's an amazing arena, though. I really missed Cole at first, and part of me still does, but Comcast is awesome.

NC State game?
Where are you parking? If you don't have lot parking, use Regents Garage.
Do NOT take Route 1 in ... look at Kenilworth to University ... it's physically longer but I've seen the 95/Route 1 exit backed up for a mile.
Ogle the trophy before the game ...
If you are going to get up at halftime, do it at the 1:00 minute mark (assuming a stoppage) ... the bathrooms and concession stands fill up fast ... use the upper level; they are less crowded.
Try to be back in your seat before halftime ends.
Skip the merchandise store ... get stuff online.
When the game ends, just sit there and listen to Gary and Johnny. Wait until the place empties out unless you want to sit in traffic.

i'm from rochester ny and i've been 3 times to comcast. i was at cole probably about 10-15 times.
heres what i miss. the noise and close quarters of cole. the tradition was un real. the heat in that place was crazy! it was so hot some games i was there they would open the doors to try and cool it down.
i don't miss the incredibly small seats and the heat!
comcast is great modern arena its plenty loud and the wall is great! it has ll the amenities and is a great place to watch a game from any seat in the house.
and now you can actually hear gary at the end of the game with johnny. of course you have to love seeing the national championship trophy.
