Well I'm sure there is a seat waiting for him with BattleBots if he wants it....

It was only a matter of time after his suspension over the "cell phone incident" last year.

With the exception of those grandfathered in (cough... Tirico... cough) ESPN now frowns on that type of behavior. Harold Reynolds even got booted and he was good.

I have yet to meet someone who actually likes Salisbury.

The media made it sound like this pissed John Clayton off big time.

I think he forgets he is not with his college buddies anymore and is a nationally televised sportscaster.

While Salisbury is/was a total tard...Chris Carter is so bland and boring.

Salisbury's "Jim Rome" schtick got old too fast.

Good riddance!

BTW, what was the "cell phone incident."

Hey, must've been one of the perks of ESPN Mobile.

At least we know SOMEONE uses those phones!

I hated those Salisbury vs Clayton spots but there was no doubt he went way over the line in this segment. Good riddance. The funny thing is he thinks he has a "brand".

What, cocky ex-jock is a brand now?

Is there a source on this "cell phone incident"? I find it hard to believe that Salisbury wouldn't have been immediately fired after doing that. Or arrested.

Thanks for the links. Yikes. I've just lost a lot of respect for ESPN that they let this guy keep his job after that.

Seriously, I'm even more amazed nobody sued him for sexual harassment.

The words "respect" and "ESPN" don't usually collide in the same sentence for me.

I just watched that myself and o man what a Richard!!! I always thought he was one before, but this just seals the deal.

I saw Chris Carter on Mike and Mike this morning and I have to say he was very good. Given his history in the league and his WR camps I would guess he will be a very knowledgable analyst.

No. I mean it. I think it's good when people aren't afraid to say how they feel and that's what he did. If people think he's a jerk for it then that's their problem.
