Posts on Old Server Archived?

Hi. I want to make poems out of some posts I saved from the old server. But I neglected to copy the names of the writers. (This was 2005 or earlier.) Is there any way to retrieve old posts from that long ago searching with phrases from the text? I'd like to give credit to the original posters, the date, etc. Thanks.

Most older posts get pruned out of the system unless they meet certain requirements - mainly determined by reply count. We have posts back to 2004, but very few. The posts you are looking for most likely have been pruned...
