Plus Gist got voted to the All-ACC Defensive team. No love for Osby at all. No one else got anything either.

Vazquez would have made the 1st team if we won our last two games.

I hope all of Vasquez's critics note that those who follow the conference thought he was the sixth best player this year.

On another note it's sad when you bring in 6 freshman and not even one of them gets a vote for the freshman team......not one.

There are some darn good freshman that got lots more time than our guys this year. The two at WF, two at GT, Duke's studs.

No big deal.

Did Gist make the team as a SG?;)

But that's the point; they got more time because they were better players, our guys weren't that good so they didn't get much PT. The numbers-especially in ACC play-don't lie, bench production was pitiful. Bowie, who some think is the second coming put up 17 points in 11 games in the middle os ACC play!! When you lose 3 starters and add 6 freshman you better have some that can play and GW ended up with too many projects and another dissapointing team. No big deal=NIT.

Oh, give it up. No one thinks Bowie is the second-coming. How annoying.

That's not very nice. There have been a number of points here and elsewhere about his playing time and that he should play ahead of others next year. He is a nice player who plays hard but I don't agree with their conclusions and backed it up with not supposition but fact. Sorry if I offended you and wish you would offer more in the way of constructive critcism than insult. BTW I could have applied the same example to any of the six other than Tucker.

Wow. Do they base All-ACC defensive team purely on blocked shots? While Gist is really good when it comes to shot-blocking, I can't get the image of John Oates (or was it Daryl Hall?), Kyle Singler, even Collins and Asbury from Miami scoring big against him.
Good help defender, not the greatest on the ball guy.
