Who is who? Who has gotten the time to go through the minor league rosters and figure out which players are which?
I know Weiters, Erbe, Reimold, Figueroa, Penn, and Rowell are all there.
Apparently I have a 19year old OF at Norfolk?
Also no sign of the two guys (Butler and Micklio) from the Bedard Trade. I don't think I saw Tillman either, but I might be mistaken.
So this should be the thread where we keep each other updated...

You have to find those guys yourself, the rosters for the game were finalized before the Bedard trade went through, so you have to hunt for them. The hard part is getting the players that don't belong to the player's union and have weird names. They will always start with the same first letters of the first and last name, but it's a headache when you are trying to examine trade proposals and don't know who they are off the top of your head.

The roster update is out....but all the minor leaguers (who haven't made it to the show) are with weird names...
This thread was an attempt to get people to help other people with who they are...

That won't change because unless they are signed with the player's union, they can't officially be IN the game. Hence why Barry Bonds is like Jim someone every year. Jamie Walker was a replacement player so he can't be in the union and why he isn't. You'll see a long list of guys like this. Minor leaguers don't HAVE to join the union until they hit the major leagues, so a good chunk of them won't start paying union dues until they get there for good. Guys like Jay Bruce who aren't in the game right now, will hit the majors and be in there next year.

I understand that...but the game has the players, just with different names....cause of the legality of the issue. Still the same skill set (for the most part) and such...
Just thought I'd use this thread to start figuring out, who was who....
Brandon Eppes = Brandon Erbe for example

I tried to do it on the other thread but nobody bit. Can we put together a running list of these names and who they really are?

I couldn't find Chorye Spoone and I went to the Mariners to find Chris Tillman and Kam Mickolio but I couldn't. I think Tony Butler may have been in A for the O's.
A better question would be, is there a way that if you change the names of the players now can you also somehow maintain those names when you get a future download? I know it is unlikely to mix the roster sets in this way but I don't want to type these names over and over every time. I think I may do a download on opening day and if I feel like it just echo the same ML transactions as they happen.
I found Donald Veal but no Jose Ceda. Gallagher, Patterson and Cedeno are all already there.
I know I had to change Millar and Walker but I think they are the only O's that aren't listed.
I also don't feel comfortable with Ray and Baez being available to Norfolk since they are out for the season. Is there a way to set them to be injured for the season?
