The harmonica solo, I mean... I don't play at all. I have a couple harps... an "E" Blues Harp (more to keep my gits in tune) and a "C" Chromonica. NASTY frickin key! Not Rock or Blues FOR SURE! Not even a decent Country key. Like a tinkly piano key.... :002_scry: *shudder*
Anyways... I'm talking about the harp solo. If you look closely, John Popper has a .... bandelero... :p of harps. I imagine in every key he ever needs.
While I can't replicate tons of the music that really moves me... I do ok... on guitar. I have slightly dabbled with my harmonicas... and if I wanted to put in the time.... I could probably learn to "play" pretty decently.
But Popper.... this solo in particular! How can you become so proficient on any instrument? His technical... and... "warm fuzzy"... virtuosity... just escapes me! Just amazes me. DESTROYS me!
