For those not familiar with this, this is not a sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk film. Complete redo, which I find odd since The Hulk really isn't all that old, but I like most of the actors I've seen in it. I really like Ed Norton, but not sure about how I feel about him in this roll.

They needed this to be a redo. The first one was garbage. I too am a big Ed Norton fan so I'm hoping this one will be much better.

No, no, no. The first one was amazing. Odd, off kilter, and in need of a better ending, but still amazing. Flawed near-greatness.
But I still want to see the new one so that Hulk Smash.

This one looks bad. Ang Lee's Hulk was unfairly blasted IMO.
Norton apparently went ape-dung on this movie and demanded to write it himself and has been difficult behind the scenes. I like Norton, but he does seem like a headcase at times, and his recent resume is pretty weak.
I'll be surprised if this is an improvement over the original.

Haha, the 2003 Hulk was a much, MUCH better parody of the superhero genre than Superhero Movie.
I know this because I did a review of Superhero Movie for one of my classes.

The main problem with the Ang Lee Hulk is...well...it was Ang Lee. He should have done a comic book with more "substance." Because ultimately...Hulk Smash.
Beyond the goofy ass ending, it was actually a decent interpretation. But Ang(st) Lee probably went a bit overboard with the psychological aspect. But he also had some really neat ideas, like the split screenings that looked like comic panels.
I thought the Ang Lee Hulk was on par with Daredevil as far as superhero movies go. This one looks pretty good to me, plus Ed Norton is one of my favorite actors. I'll definitely be seeing this.

Yeah, I think that movie gets really unfairly bashed. I think the main problem was people paid for a "popcorn flick" to see "Hulk Smash" and instead, got a deep look into Bruce Banner's psyche (sp?), his troubled family past and his struggles to cope w/ these problems. Definitely not a bad thing, but not the best film for someone w/ a short attention span.

I thought the first one was miserable. My interest is starting to wane on some of these super-hero movies. Well, "starting" is a nice way of putting it.

I never liked how the AngLeeHulk grew to like 20 feet tall when he got really mad. What was THAT?
