Online Play on the Wii

Are there many titles that allow for online play on the Wii? I haven't read up on it in a while but it seemed like around the time it was released the online capabilities were slim.

What are some fun titles with decent online play? Am I able to play Wii Sports versus my in-laws in the Midwest?

A lot of the Nintendo games have online play. I haven't actually played online yet b/c I live in a dorm w/o wireless, but off the top of my head I know that Mario Strikers Charged, Smash Bros, and Mario Kart Wii all have free online play. Kart's online play looks awesome and has been getting rave reviews.

Thanks for the info. I have a Wii but just haven't had the time to check out its full capabilities.
