Not a guy I would have expected this from to say the least, looks pretty bad for him.

*snickers*
Seriously though, this is just weird. He's known as one of the "good guys", but I guess nobody's perfect.
Though by the way the reports have described the other guy in all of this (problem customer, belligerent at the time, and oh yeah...ex-con who served ten years for murder), some part of me is disappointed that he only got his hand grazed.

Wow that really doesnt sound good, if they trace the gun back to him.
"However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene."
Ouch

I don't know I've always had the feeling Harrison isn't as wholesome as he has been portrayed. It says he was sued in 2005 for attacking some minors but the case was dismissed.

Looks like he's innocent:
May 2, 2008 (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a possible connection between a North Philadelphia shooting and pro-bowl wide receiver Marvin Harrison.
Sources tell Action News a group of men got into a fight at Harrison's bar, Playmakers, at 25th and Thompson Streets last weekend.
On Tuesday, one of the men allegedly went to Harrison's brother's detail shop where another fight broke out. Shots were fired and two men were injured. Harrison showed up at the scene a short time later.
Police called him in for questioning. Harrison turned over a gun that produces unique bullet casings similar to ones found at the scene.

Didn't they say that ballistic reports showed his gun had been fired 7 times? And he said he never left his house...shortly before they found it hidden in a bucket? I'm not sure how you get he's innocent from that quote...the incident that he showed up "shortly after" isn't the one at the bar where he may have fired shots.

Just because his gun is at the scene basically still smoking does not make him guilty, thats america for you.

It appears that the car wash bucket stash the gun story is mostly fallacy. Looks like it was just some radio jockey trying to get his face on ESPN for 15 minutes.
What appears to have happened is that Marvin gave his brother a gun that he had at the detail shop that was for protection. Said gun was used, but not by him. He arrived shortly thereafter.
Overall, he'll most likely face a misdemeanor, but that's about it. Maybe a one-game suspension I'd say.

Yes, thankfully you're not immediately proclaimed guilty based on hazy reports. That is America for you.

Try telling that to those three young men from the 2006 Duke lacrosse team.

The real question is...
Have the Cowboys tried to trade for him yet?

It doesn't sound like all that many people are as convinced of his innocence anymore...
Six of the bullet casings found after an April 29 shooting near Marvin Harrison's car wash and garage came from a gun that belongs to the Colts wide receiver, Philadelphia police sources told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.
Police returned to the scene of the crime Monday to examine bullet holes in two residences after new information was provided to police by an alleged third victim of the shooting.
