Outside of Norfolk, there were losers everywhere you looked down on the farm. The Tides dropped the Louisville Bats thanks to a sharp performance by an O’s pitching prospect. Bowie’s bullpen blew their late lead in a loss to New Britain. Frederick wasted a masterfully pitched effort as they were beat New Britain. Delmarva struggled at the plate causing them to lose one to West Virginia.
The Tides’ Hayden Penn tossed five innings, four of which were scoreless, allowing four hits and striking out five. He’s tonight’s Orioles Hangout Player of the Night.
