The best seats today cost about 20 gallons of gas or nearly 200 postage stamps.
So ticket prices have increased at a significantly higher price than gas or postage stamps.

Ahhhh...if only I had the chance to live in that era....
I'm sure gas was about .75 cents, a hot dog was .50 cents and so on....
