Does anybody know what kind of rain they're expecting downtown this afternoon? It looks like light T-showers moving in from the west, but the heaviest rains are up in PA. We need to get this game in today.

I wouldnt necessarily mind because then we could use Guthrie against NYY.

It looks to me like it could be a lengthy delay, but the rain should be out in a few hours. I think they can wait on this game because DC is close and the Nats have a home game tomorrow and do not really have to travel, and the Orioles have an off day and will not travel after the game, they will most likely leave tomorrow sometime for New York. Because of this, I see them getting this game in a some point, if not on time.

It looks pretty bad in AA county and Baltimore City. I would assume if they were to start, it would be around 315-330 ish.

What a pitcher's battle. We need one of them home runs too.
When the ump is giving the pitchers the call for every single pitch 4 inches off the plate away, you need to crowd the plate a little more. It's common sense. Every single freaking at bat: first pitch, fast ball on the "outside corner" for a called strike. This is pathetic.

Coincidentally enough, I was just looking at their splits:
Payton vs. RHP: .208/.250/.208, 56 PA
Payton vs. LHP: .258/.258/.677, 31 PA
Scott vs. RHP: .306/.367/.500, 107 PA

I know, small sample size and everything, but it looks like a tailor-made platoon situation.

Frustrating game. I didn't see the Bannister game but this was the most frustrating one I've seen. Offense looked truly pathetic. It looked like they didn't expect the game to get in, and when it did, they were caught completely off guard.
