Out of sight, out of mind, apparently-- the game has already started, but it's not on TV until 7.
Edwin Jackson has walked the bases loaded with one out in the first inning.

For some reason, MLB.TV is letting me watch this one now. Jackson looks awful. Most pitches are not even close.

Millar apparently made a baserunning blunder that turned into an inning-ending double play. He didn't break off first base on a grounder to Pena, and got tagged out to start the twin killing. Wha??

It's now official...the Orioles will never score another run. :(

Bases loaded with one out... And Scott grounds into a double play, but totally Millar's fault.
Scott hits a chopper to second, Iwamora catches it 10 feet off of 1st Base, tags Millar, and flips to first to get Scott.
Why did Millar just stand there? Baserunning this year has been atrocious.

But why couldn't Scott just hit a freaking fly ball or something? Why can't anyone on this team make solid contact with runners in scoring position?

With runners on third and less then 2 out we have been way below average.

If Trachsel cant make it deep in this game (and by deep I mean the 3rd inning) I would hope the FO just bites the bullet and releases him because he has only kept us in 3 games this whole season.

I'm not going to come down on Trax too hard because at the end of the day he's not doing this on purpose. But professional pride has to come into play here and he has to realise his time is up. I'd have a lot of respect for him if he did what Matt Morris did the other week.

It is rather fitting, if that was indeed Trachsel's final Major League appearance, that the last pitch he ever threw went for a home run.

Or we could just plug Albers into the rotation and call up Rocky Cherry for the bullpen.
