A weird question I know but does anyone ever recall what happened to the pitchers cart that was used to get the reliever from the BP to the infield back in the days it was cool to drive instead of walking or running? I asked this question some where a while back and it was suggested that I write the Maryland Stadium authority about it. I never got an answer. I guess I could contact the Sports Legends Museum as some one there may know but it just seems funny that baseball shaped golf cart just up and vanished! I can see if it was given away, auctioned off but you think some one would have preserved that unique piece of baseball history!

From the "Not exactly what I was looking for" Department, I think the Weinermobile (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wienermobile) was better...
A 70-year tradition, from the first one in the 30's (http://www.shorey.net/Auto/Miscellaneous%20Pictures/1936%20Oscar%20Meyer%20Wienermobile.jpg)... to another one in the 50's (http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/g/gerstenslager/oo1952Gerstenslager.jpg)... to a fleet of huge swoopy ones in the 80's (http://www.nydailynews.com/img/2008/03/11/alg_weinermobile.jpg)... to the new ones (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3279/2400361013_3c18f1d8f2.jpg?v=0)...
And maybe a prototype (http://respublica.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/wiener_bike.jpg) for when gas hits $6?

Perhaps the pitchers cart was called the weiner mobile when Palmer was in it...
but your right, another close but no cigar...or in this case it wasn't even an Esskay mobile! LOL
I know the one from Fenway is on public display up there, I think in the team store on Yawkey. Not sure what the O's did with theirs.

Thank you...I know this was a long shot but you never know, maybe someone out there remembers what happened to it...
