Everyone who predicted he'd stay retired, raise your hand...
Not so fast every one of you! :wedge:

How can he even say he retired when he hasn't even sat out ONE season!!
I hear Michael Jordan wants to play again for the bulls as well:rolleyes:

I hope they trade Rodgers. I'm a huge Favre fan, but this is :cussing: up.

Who is to say he goes to GB though?

Thats exactly what I was thinking when I saw the story on ESPNNEWS. I don't think the Packers are in the position to let him come back.

It really puts them in a really tough spot. They've started retooling the offense to fit Rodgers better already and would have to scrap that, not to mention it's a pretty big slap in the face to Rodgers in the first place...and then you have the fan equation. I mean, most GB fans are savvier than some other teams fans, but at the same time, they still might freak out if the Packers release Favre to go play out his remaining days elsewhere. Of course, if he fails miserably, they'll let it go, but I'm talking initially.

Cut Boller, Flacco is 3rd, Smith is backup, and Favre is the new starter.:D

I doubt the Packers allow him to come back. Once that happens, I bet Favre will stay retired. It's got to be tough retiring knowing that your last pass was a an INT for a TD that ended the Packers season. I never understood how Marino could retire after his last game too. It almost makes you think they'd come back and then retire after the first TD they threw in the next season. ;)
I don't blame Favre for still wanting to play though. He just has to understand that he's holding the Packers and their fans hostage by doing this.

OK Ravens fans, let the fun begin. ;)
Ravens, Texans, Bucs among finer fits for Favre (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=williamson_bill&id=3474482&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab2pos1)
Seriously though, this is just one of ESPN's NFL hacks who must be bored out of his mind waiting for training camps to open. Still, if Favre were to come back and GB were to trade him, the Ravens are one of just a few teams that would make sense.

There is an article on ESPN that talks about this. They are saying that Favre would be a good fit in Baltimore. This is the same as our stopgap SS issue.

Ugh. Maybe if we were close to a SB run and needed a QB, but right now I don't feel like this team will make the playoffs.

Raise your hand if you are tired of anything having to do with Brett Favre? His "drama" is so old.

Raises Hand, but I'd still sign him to a one year contract. Ogden's toe might even feel better if we did that..

I've been tired of him for about, 15 years now. :)
I think SG said in another thread that the best fit for him is Minnesota, which is probably actually true. But I think the universe would implode if that were to happen.

I'm sure at least Wisconsin would implode if that were to happen.
