SF for Apple Jacks, 1-0 O's.

That was quick.

The Rick

Yes, it was. Jonesy has a pretty sweet swing. I love watching him bat.

Buchholz already at 19 pitches, only 7 strikes. Only out so far the Jones SF.

Single and Mora's out trying to advance to 2nd.

What exactly happened for those following on Gameday?

Throw went to the plate, Huff and Mora try to advance, throw gets cutoff and they nail Mora at 2nd?

mrbig1

Good eye Millar.

Mackus
07-11-2008, 07:20 PM
Walk for Millar, Buccholz has no control.

Should be loaded w/ 1 out instead 2 outs and runners on corners for Luuuuuuuke. Seems like a good time for him to get hot again.

Lets hope Burres can have a decent start. I'd take 6 IP and 3 runs happily.

Wasn't even cut off really. They threw straight to second and for some reason Mora thought it'd be a good idea to try for a double on a line shot off the Monster.

El Gordo
07-11-2008, 07:26 PM
Well now he knows what's not a strike.:rolleyestf:

To expand on that, Hunter and Palmer think that Mora was assuming that Manny would throw to third, and he didn't.

The Wedge

Note to Dustin Pedroia: It doesn't make you look older...it doesn't make you look cool. You have money, buy a razor, because it makes you look like a douche...especially since one side grows thicker than the other.

They threw to the SS who was closer to 3B and he threw immediately to 2B. Looked to me like they were juking Mora to try for 2B. That's why Manny was smiling after the play IMO.

The Wedge

Oh right. Brain fart.

However, Manny smiles after every play. I think he was grinning like an idiot after that David Newhan inside the parker a few years back that was ENTIRELY his fault for inexplicably cutting the ball off.

Will you be at the Hangout Game?

There's actually a slight chance I might be but I'm not sure yet. I have to go back to NJ before then, but I have a job interview in Asheville on the 21st so I might stop in Baltimore on the way and my sister has been bugging me to come down and go to a game with her. Not sure which night that will be though.
