It's a joke that this guy gets jail time for being an idiot, yet murderers walk around like they didn't do a thing. Whatever.

What is he getting jail time for? I mean I know what he did, but is it just because he was supposedly fixing basketball games?
Not sure what's different here than any other person that calls his or her bookie everynight and having that lifestyle negatively affect their job.
He bet on the games and intentionally called fouls/not fouls on players to win.

Alot of people aren't die hard NBA fans either...But lets look at the baseball side of things. If we found out the home plate umpire tonight had 50 grand on the Yanks thats why he threw out Cabrera, we'd be pretty upset. But does he deserve to go to jail? Over a guy who might rob a bank or hit and run who gets probation and a couple hours of community service?
Right, I know we're both agreeing that what the guy did was awful, but Jail time..Come on. We'd be furious if Richie Garcia would've had $100K on the Yankees in Game 1 in '96, but jail? Come on.
