I have a few, but I'm a big fan of "Some Kind of Wonderful".
I'm not very cool (to say the least).
What's yours?
WarGames and The Breakfast Club. That's pure 80's right there.
OH!!! And Short Circuit.

This is hard.
Gotta go with any one of Red Dawn, Breakfast Club, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, or Ferris Bueller's Day Off depending on which mood I'm in.
As for other 80's movies I love, which aren't teenage-oriented, gotta go with the James Cameron classics: Aliens and The Terminator.

The Running Man's another great one, especially for classic Arnold lines.

I totally thought of both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi but it was so big and obvious. Remember Catfish Hunter in Grumpy Old Men? It was like catching the biggest fish in the pond but throwing him back out of respect.

One of the biggest "grower" comedies for me ever. I could probably rattle off a third of the dialog right her and now.
But I won't
But I could.

I loved the Police Academy movies and Stand by Me was also a good one. The most obvious one not said has to be Top Gun.

If my DVD collection was reduced to just Blue Velvet, Repo Man, Down By Law, Mona Lisa and John Carpenter's The Thing, I could get by for a few days.

Heh. I was in the Virgin Islands when they were shooting the sequel. Saw them on a boat.

Um...beginning of the end for Brooks? Though somehow the 2000 Year Old Man stuff is still hysterical.

Well, for awhile there it was on almost every day on Comedy Central. I'd watch Kids in the Hall, and then Just One of the Guys would be on.

Nah, beginning of the end was Men in Tights. Although, you have to admit that the live production of The Producers shows that Mr. Brooks still has some fire left.

Did you try to sit through that movie (The adaptation of the musical, not the original film, just to be clear)? Brutally bad.
The 2000 Year Old Man stuff that he did recently is, somehow, still amazingly funny. By all acounts, Carl Reiner just asks him the questions, and he goes, off the top of his head.

No. Didn't waste my time with the movie based off the play based off the movie. I really saw no point to it. At that point, I don't see how there's anything to be gained by doing it a third time.

I did. Still can't believe I sat through the whole thing; I was hoping it would get better, but never did. Even Will Ferrell couldn't save it.

I'm a child of the 80's so there's not of movies from that era I don't like. But a guilty pleasure of mine has to be "Say Anything" with John Cusack.
My all time favorite line: "I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen."
And of course, "Logan's Run." I still can't get that stupid gem on my hand to stop flashing!!

And as an aside to that movie, did you happen to catch a young not-yet-ready-to-be-Ari Gold-Jeremy Piven as one of the snooty rich guys at the yacht club? I swear, every time I see him in that movie, I have this urge to yell, "LLOYD!! GET IN HERE!!"

I'd also be really tough competition on Princess Bride.

Lots of great one already mentioned. Before I read the thread the first few that came to mind were Ferris, WarGames, Back to the Future and Stand By Me.
One I haven't seen that I'd like to add is Rocky IV.
