Hey, hey... I have a riddle for you. What do you get when you subtract a killer young CFer, an All Star closer, three minor league prospects, and add a pitcher that never pitches??

Let me take a whack at it: One fired GM, One fired manager, and the worst team in the AL?

He was just going down into the dugout.
Was there video of it? The M's broadcast just said Scott pinch hit for him, the only thing I've heard about Huff hitting his head is on here.
On a more or less unrelated note, Trembley just pinch hit for Mora, who has had plenty of rest lately. Why the heck is his overworked, underperforming catcher still in there? Guillermo Quiroz has shockingly few at bats for a backup C who has been the only one for his team all year and Hernandez isn't even good!
Also, I'll bet Trembley's going to use Fahey for Roberts, but since he can play a little OF he really should use him for Markakis since he hasn't had so much as an inning off in over a month with the way our roster is configured.

Not true at all. BRob had the day off Sunday, has been taken out of two blowouts recently, and they all had the day off yesterday. Nick shouldn't be playing every single inning of every single game no matter how young he is. Even if it doesn't affect him now, he'll wear down faster later in his career if he's abused as a young player.

Letting Olson complete a shutout will do his morale more good than the extra pitches will hurt his arm.

I just noticed they gave Ichiro a hit on the grounder Fahey booted. I guess the friendly home scorer is why he keeps getting 200 hits a year and leading the world in "infield singles."

Should have given him one more batter. If he gets the outs, excellent. If not, well, who cares if they score a run or two before he's pulled. His usual start is 5 - 6 innings, so his ERA will even out to what it normally is anyway if a run or two goes in. Of course, I suppose this is why I'm not an MLB manager.
