Question about Thread

I have no idea where to post this/who I should/shouldn't have pmed so I thought I might as well do it here.

I had a thread called "Who is George Sherrill?" in which I looked into GS's FB/GB/HR tendencies. As of a few hours ago it was active with about 12 or so responses.

It's gone now and I was just wondering why it was deleted. I'm not mad, upster, or even really perterbed, I got some interesting opinions out of it but I just want to know what warnted it's deletion just so I won't make the same mistake in the future. Thanks for any help :)
