Of course, I am referring to Sidney Ponson becoming a productive pitcher for, of all teams, the NYMFYs.

His sinker tonight is just nasty, and he seems to be throwing it for strikes at will. Through 6:

If his recent successes imply that he has straightened himself out as a productive person, then I'll be happy for him. And as a pitcher, he always had the tools and I'll even be pleased if he finds some consistency - it's what we always wanted from him. More power to him. But he better suck when we face off against him or I'll want his liver nailed to the dugout pine.

Meh. It's a Quality Start, and hats off to Sid for that, but it's still not like 8 shutout innings. Not a nightmare, just a dream where you wake up, and can't quite remember it, but it leaves you with a bad feeling.
