What's that? Lou Montanez doesn't have a right fielder's arm? I had no idea!:(

baseballnelie
09-23-2008, 08:36 PM
And not a good start to the game for our pitcher again

blueberryale77
09-23-2008, 08:54 PM
More trouble for Montanez in RF.

Dude should not be allowed to wear a glove.

blueberryale77
09-23-2008, 09:06 PM
I'm going to choose to believe Castro did that on purpose to make sure the run would score... :noidea:

The games recently (past 5 or 6) have been fairly close. We just loose every one in a different, painful fashion. Also, Simon pitched 5 innings of 1 run ball. That is amazing to me...

Run #4! That's pretty impressive for us these days. Quiroz is having himself a pretty nice day.

blueberryale77

What a horrific call! That was a mile off the outside and the umpire had to think about it for a minute and a half before calling it. Roberts could have hit about .350 this year if not for BS called strikes in that region of the righthanded batter's box. :angryfire:

He is a saint for not getting ejected from a single game this year when the same thing has happened to him over and over and over again.

What's the difference in percentage of fourth picks vs. fifth picks that make it to the majors? With our draft history in the Angelos era, I don't care where we pick because we're going to do a crappy job of it 90% of the time anyway.
