Only about 5 years too late, but the Matt Millen era has finally ended in Detroit (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8601458?MSNHPHMA). Amazingly, it was still uncertain whether he was fired or stepped down on his own accord.
Was there anyone in the sports world less deserving of their spot than Matt Millen?

I can't believe they got rid of him so soon. He's experienced such success in Detroit...:D

Maybe Isiah Thomas. But only maybe (and that's saying something).

You almost wonder if Millen had some kind of pictures of the owner that he didn't want to get out. How else do you explain the ineptitude that has surrounded that organization since he took over?
The only thing I hate is that everytime one of these things open up I keep waiting hear the Ravens lost another guy from their scouting department.

I glad to see Martin Mayhew (former Redskin and Georgetown grad) get the promotion.
