Instead of putting a bunch of book titles in one thread, we might want to have a thread for each book.

One of my favorite books came out a few years ago. It's called The Time Traveler's Wife. It's soon to be butchered as a movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

Basically, it's about the relationship between a man and a wife. He bounces through time without control, meaning when they're together they're not always at the same point in his life.

Don't let that confuse you. The book is an easy read and keeps springing new surprises at you. It lays out puzzle pieces and then when the pieces fit you just get it.

Even better, the author participates in a fan forum and answers questions. If you've read this and wondered, "What did Claire's friend tell Henry at his wedding?" You're not going to find out. She says it was intentional. While I agree with her logic in saying that, in this instance I think she just forgot.

Unless it's an author that only wrote one book, wouldn't threads about the author and their work make more sense than individual threads about the works themselves.

I think the thread goes how it wants to go. A happy medium will find itself. The answer is probably in the middle. Especially considering these threads will be like any other, with a bunch of posts and then a slowdown.

I'd rather that than one thread with people talking about 50 different books at once and none of them indepth.
