Saw the Bears lose 5-4 to Scranton Wilkes-Barre tonight. It snapped Hershey's season-opening five-game win streak. Alzner looked solid and in good position. As his reputation suggests, he doesn't look like he will be a big offensive player. He does put the puck on net from the point. Lepisto struggled, I thought. His skating is good but committed a lot of turnovers. Different Hershey team than two years ago. This team is led by veterans Keith Aucoin, Graham Mink, and Alex Giroux are on the top line. Chris Bourque was back in Hershey after one game with the Caps and was all over the ice tonight. He was the number three star. Couldn't hear the postgame news conference too well, but the coach did say something about a Bear joining the Caps. I will check on that.

Tyler Sloan, D, will be called up. The Caps are very close to the cap maximum so Alzner can't be added.

Yep. I was going to post that. Thanks for the info! I am optimistic Alzner will be pretty good (which I know isn't a big shock).

Also, Godfrey and Bouchard were both scratched. Was not impressed with Osala. I understand his size is one of his best assets, but he looked really slow. Machesny played in the net. After allowing two goals in the first 90 seconds he settled down a bit. Certainly not a great game for him.
