well i have heard the leaks from the internet and this album going to be amazing.
I just saw GNR here in Baltimore in 06 and Axl Rose's voice is better than ever. Everyone (COMPLAINS) about there being no Slash but the guys in the band now are as good (probably better) than the original lineup. they also played a few of these new tunes and they are great. This could easily be "Use Your Illusion 3"
If you wanna hear their first single go to gunsnroses.com
It starts automatically after about 10 seconds. The first single "Chinese Democracy" is not the best song by any stretch but its a good rocker. Buckethead and Bumblefoot's guitar work on the song is pretty kick ass.

I don't CARE about no Slash...I CARE about no Izzy Stradlin. The band was never the same after he left, not anybody else.

I predict it will be roughly as good as the 2009 Baltimore Orioles! ;)

My post was Scottie-ized.
I didn't even attempt to go around the censors, either, I just let it censor me. Heheh. :D

Is Tommy Stinson still their bassist of record, or did Axl emancipate him?

I think Stinson is still it.
They've been recording music for this since the year I was born.

I've heard Scheckler's Revenge. Its terrible. When you think of all the terrible hard rock that has come out between the time that GNR released their last record, and the time that Chinese Democracy will finally hit the shelves, and how its basically impossible for GNR not to be influenced by it, you are in for a record that is bound to dissapoint.

Is Brain the drummer on the album?
Buckethead still destroys any of these other new guitarists they have though.
I'm still waiting on the new Buckethead/Brain/Bootsy Collins album coming out. Now that will blow your mind if you've never heard Praxis before.

Shackler's Revenge is one of only a few songs I haven't heard yet, but for the most part the songs are amazing.

Gotta spread some rep around before I can give it to you again, amigo...but you have hit the nail squaw on the head..."Rochamebeu'd" it, methinks.
Of course, now I'm wondering what Izzy's up to these days...

He's producing some solo albums now. Duff made an appearance on his latest.
