Who do you think is the best choice for Heisman? Personally I'm a bit miffed, being a gator fan doesn't help, that Tim Tebow is not being considered a top candidate. I think Harrell and McCoy are good quarterbacks, but all they can do is throw. I like the fact that Tebow can run or pass, he is not afraid to take a hit and he broke the Gators rushing touchdown record this year as a Quarterback. The Heisman should be the best all around player and yes he isn't putting up the passing yards that Harrell and McCoy do, but he is such a threat and can do so much against any team. Again my opinion is affected by my being a Gator fan but come on.

As things stand now, I see absolutely no way that anyone beats out Harrell. The guy is an absolute monster. He lights up Texas and OK St. It has to be his award to lose.

I agree with FLK, it's Harrell's to lose. The fact that they are undefeated, having beaten Texas and OSU, puts him at the top. Texas Tech quarterbacks always have the stats, but not the record. They lose the big ones. Not this year. If they stay undefeated and win the Big XII, he'll most likely get it.

And FYI, McCoy is leading the Horns in rushing, 101 carries for 449 yards. :)

The Big 12 is just plain silly now. After Bama barely beating a team with a completely incompetent QB, I think the best 3 teams are all in the Big 12. And, I think the top 3 Heisman candidates should be as well. Right now, my top 3 would go: Harrell, Colt McCoy, Bradford.

Yeah, gotta be Harrell. The second best player I've seen this year is his teammate Crabtree. After them it's McCoy and Bradford. This is the year of dominant Big 12 players.

Does everyone think it's going to be Bradford now?

I'd say he moved into the driver's seat after demolishing TTU.

I got to go with McCoy. I not saying he's going to win. He played against 4 top 20 teams in a row and looked good against all of them. I think he will be The top QB in the pro draft IMO.

Tebow should win it...The Big 12 QBs have better numbers but they get to go against the defenses in the big 12, which aren't good.

Tebow has to play much better defenses.

Well Tebow, McCoy, and Bradford have been nominated. Not sure why Graham wasn't invited, seems odd.

Probably didn't get any top 3 votes...at least none to speak of.

Yeah, as much as it hurts me to say this, Tim Tebow should win the Heisman.

It has to be Bradford... Better stats than either Tebow or McCoy. Like Tebow, he got his team (even if undeserved) to the National Championship game. Tougher schedule than Tebow.

Not in terms of what kind of defenses he played.

Tim Tebow would have destroyed those Big 12 defenses.

You also have to consider that Big 12 offenses are much better than SEC offenses, thus making Big 12 defenses look worse in comparision.

Colt McCoy has completed 77% of his passes and has rush for more yards than Tim tebow. That spells Heisman to me.

Colt McCoy should win the Heisman because he has played so well without the superstar talented offenses that Tebow or Bradford have. Tebow has Harvin and Murphy to give the ball to, and Bradford's offense is so good, that Brett Bomar could probably have thrown for 40+ touchdowns this year.

I am a Gator fan, and I think that McCoy should win the Heisman. The guy lead his team in rushing and like mr big said, completed 77% of his passes. The only time you see stats like that is when the guy is in an option offense. But McCoy threw for 3400 yards.

On a side note, I did bump into the reigning Heisman winner Thursday night at a club in downtown Orlando. He was just hanging out in his booth, holding court.

Bradford it is.

Deservedly so. I just wonder if two Heisman winners have ever met in a National Championship. That should just make what should be a really good game even better. We're going to get to see two of the best QB's in college football history go up against each other in the biggest game of the year. Should be fun.

After doing a tad bit of research, the 2005 Orange Bowl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Orange_Bowl) was the first time two Heisman Trophy winners faced each other ever (Jason White, 2003; Matt Leinart 2004). That game also featured four of the top 5 vote getters.

As a proud Gator fan I will say that Bradford deserved to win.
