I know you guys have introduced lots of cool non-baseball related sections to Orioles Hangout recently, and maybe you don't want to change the emphasis away from baseball much more, but I was wondering if it would make sense to have a dedicated section for financial discussion.
I've seen several threads relating to the current state of our economy in the larger sense as well as threads relating to specific questions on job searches, buying a house, etc. Many of these have really helped me understand what's going on, how we got where we are, and where we may be going.
I think the benefit would obviously be going to one place to share thoughts on this important topic with other Hangouters, and we could all benefit from each other's particular expertise.
There is a risk of things getting political I suppose, although I haven't seen that happen (much) in any of the threads I mentioned.
Of course, if you don't think this is a good idea, we can still share our thoughts in the Hangout Club catch-all section.
