For me the song by U-2 Beautiful day. She was a shy little girl from a small town. I never had the guts to tell her how I feel. I had may up my mind to tell her when The girl I was with told me I was going to be a Father. I married my ex wife and we had another daughter together. I love my wife of ten years very much, but sometimes I think about the that girl with the big brown eyes. I haven't seen her in 33 years.

"Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks. I was in love with a crazy drug addicted girl and she loved the Dixie Chicks. She played them all the time. Cant hear this song and not think of her. Dont know whatever happened to her. Havent seen her in 7 years. I dont think she was on a good path. I could belive anything could of been her fate. But she had a way of making you feel great around her.

Not specifically tied to the one that got away, but whenever I hear that song I think about her...a little bit.
Really, she was one of the few women I was involved with before El who wasn't completely nuts. Must have been the goatee! (No wait...I had that when I met El!)
