No matter who he signs with, there's a decent chance that we'll all go wild and the board will crash. Could we have a backup board on one of those free message board sites in case that happen?

I think that's one of the reasons the Baltimoresportshangout.com is being created. (along with many other reasons) But it just depends on when that opens. Oh and congratulations on the almost 1K!

I believe Tony and Cary would take offense to that! This modifications and upgrades Cary (McLovin) has made to this site have been immense! I noticed earlier today there were 650 people online. That would have left this place at a crawl. I don't expect any issues at all to be honest.

He's got a good point, I've been to other websites who don't have nearly as many users as this and they are like molasses.

We've got 800 users on at the moment, and it's no big deal at all. My guess is we can get to about 1500 before noticing any slowdown.

How do you do it man? I could probably get two on here before everyone's computer blows up. Just kidding...I hope.

With all due respect, what in the world are you talking about?
We haven't had an issue with the board even slowing down since Cary made some modifications last off season.
This board can handle the rush of traffic just like it's humming now.
