Caps whipped up on the Pens tonight in Pittsburgh, capped off the night with an empty net goal by Jeff Schultz(!) of all people.
Hopefully, this is the start of an extended weekend of the Baltimore/DC Area owning the City of Pittsburgh.

Very nice finish tonight. Pens played it close all game, but the Caps were (finally) able to take advantage of their power play opportunities late. I'm not a Crosby fan at all, but I hope the guy's alright.

There are two guys up in section 404 and 405 that absolutely LOVE to rip on poor Schultz every move he makes. I wish this game would have been at home just so I could have turned around and said HA!!

Nice win to snap a 3 game losing skid. Gotta love that hit Ovechkin put on Crosby that was sweet!! Me and my Dad are going to the game Saturday against the Bruins lets hope they can keep the ball (puck) rolling!

Ovie showed why he is still the MVP in the 3rd period. Total domination on both sides of the ice.
I gotta give credit to Theodore, who made some big saves in the 3rd.
I once saw a #55 Schultz jersey at an Orioles game. Thought that was pretty odd

That should be an epic game. It's not nationally televised is it? The Bruins are (obviously) really good, but I just get this sense that they'll be coming back to Earth at some point this season.

I was just watching some highlights of his performance; looked like he wanted to tell the world he really is the star of the NHL right now, and not Sid the Cryba- oops I mean Sid the Kid. For my money Ovechkin is easily the most-fun player to watch...unless he's playing my Flyers!

I think your joking, because it is pretty obvious Schultz is just not that good. He is slow, has poor positioning, poor stick handling, and just always seems to get beat.
I dont know what they see in Schultz, I'm not a big Jurcina fan either.

If you're going Saturday, make sure to do some research on possible road closures, parking restrictions, packed Metro, etc.

It was a missle! Wow what a shot that was, he got a ton of power on that shot, Thomas didn't even see it.
It seems as though were the only team that can beat the Bruins. We might be able to catch them if other teams find a way to beat them.
And that penalty called on Ovechkin was bogus, that was a nice hit.

Forgot to post, but yeah it was a great game and a nice win. That breakaway goal from someone was nice to watch as it happen! Tough L last night, but certainly have to be happy with where this team is at heading into the all star break.

I was a little worried about the Caps at the start of the season but they really turned it up lately. Hopefully they can keep this pace up into the all star break and especially after the all star break.
GO CAPS!!!!
