Julio most likely comes out to start the tenth.

If Julio can get through this inning, the O's will have their best chance with Mora, Tejada, Palmiero & Lopez coming up.

Maybe Raffy should get rid of his too? And Gibbons should grow one just because it would look totally ridiculous and reduce the opposing pitcher into fits of laughter every AB.

Javy pops to shallow center, and it's an easy throw home for Damon to nail him.

Wasn't Mora's fault Javy could only manage a popup. He should have taken one of Raffy's Viagra to get it up..
As I said, this team is still inept in the clutch. Inexcusable to blow all the scoring chances they've had. Heaven forbid they wait for pitches they can drive.

Time for another commercial about our great offensive additions. The opposing pitcher is staggered, so we let him off the hook.
Skipjacks
04-08-2004, 10:34 PM
Throw was average...Mora ran well. But the ball wasn't deep enough. He never shoudl have been running. Throw was to the 3rd base side of the plate, it was close...but he was beat fair and square
Apparently opposing players have been given permission by the O's to ask which inning DeJean is coming in for so that they can book their teeing off times well in advance.

Geez, we're bad. No bunt was dumb. If Segui can't bunt, use Lopez. Now, Gibbons is out of the game.
That only hurts if the game goes another 3 innings.
The way I see it is that if this game just keeps going on and on until a pitcher screws up, we're in pretty good shape.
We've got Rodrigo stashed away if we need him.

Good job Buddy! Really hope he keeps this up til later in the season and nets us some nice prospects at the trade deadline.

Roberts better be careful on those. He was running in fair territory. If Jones was smart he would have hit him square in the back. Bigbie would have had to go back to first and Roberts would be out.
Its amazing how often major legaue hitters do taht wrong.
