I for one am looking forward to this book coming out. The teaser quotes that have been released already are pretty interesting. I just wonder how much more is in the book. I also hope its Joe doing most the talking instead of Verducci giving us his opinion. Whats every body else think?

Can't wait to read this "unbiased" review. ;)

Torre's book tour begins tomorrow (Tuesday 2/3) at a Barnes & Noble in Manhattan.
I attended a David Ortiz book signing at the same store a couple years ago, and it took over two hours to get through the line. Not sure if I can take that long of a lunch break, but I definitely plan to drop in on the not-so-angry mob.
Books sounds pretty interesting. Have to pick up a used copy cheap one day.

Quickie review: Not an expose or a "tell-all" by any means, but rather a history of Torre's time in NY. Interesting information on how the Red $ox overtook the Yankee$ for dominance of the AL East, and a pretty damning indictment of Cashman's skills as a GM, and the current Yankee$ ownership now that George III in incapacitated. Worth reading, but if you're looking for "dirt", you're not going to find much here.

Makes me think even more that the bruhaha was intentional to drum up publicity for it.
