What is everyone's feelings so far about the post Grissom CSI's?

I thought Grissom's last episode was not what I expected. I know he doesn't often show his emotions, but his quick scene with Nick and then the non-goodbye eye contact with Catherine could have been so much better. And then for him to end the show back with Sara just sucked the life out of me. I don't like her, never did, never will. I did not like the last Grissom episode.

I was feeling down about Grissom leaving, but Fishburn's first episode was clever. I liked how they have him just learning the job and making errors. Its kind of funny and made it seem more realistic, rather than him just coming in and instantly knowing what he's doing. It makes it fun watching him "get it" with the scene like the fingerprinting to end the show. Good first post Grissom show.

But that got shot to hell for me last night. I do NOT like this psych-analysis "Doctor" stuff that they have Fishburn's character doing. The success of the show is finding evidence that leads to an outcome. I don't like the "doctor tries to reason with the criminal to find out 'why' he did what he did" BS. I sure hope this isn't the direction the show is going in, because I for one would not be interested in that stroyline. Give me crimes, evidence collection, and more of Nick, Catherine, Blondy and the bunch. No more Dr. Analysis stuff, PLEASE!
