I can't believe it happened again.
Similar time of the year, similar circumstances. Hell it happened against the same damn team.
Normally I'd be optimistic and say that he'll be back by the post-season, but after what happened last year I'm not holding my breath. See you in October, Andrew.
Looks like the Celtics get another title off us when we're not at full strength:cussing:

Well lets just hope that he comes back in 8-12 weeks like he's projected to. This is a different injury to the other knee, so maybe that will help.
BTW, I wouldn't assume the C's will win the East.

Not a Lakers fan. but correct me if I am wrong, but with Bynum out, would the starters look like this?
PG: Fisher
SG: Bryant
SF: Walton
PF:Odom
C: Gasol

Let's go Magic!

A great team, to be sure. In fact, I'd put money on them making it if Boston doesn't and, without Bynum, Howard would tear us a new one in the finals.
Ugh, this couldn't have come at a worse time. I guess this is Kobe Karma for all the trash he talked about Andrew last year...

Those four are right. Phil seemingly hasn't settled on a "3" all year (Radmanovic was doing it for a while). I guess right now Walton will get most of the time there but the guy who really benefits from this is Odom. Thank God we didn't trade him.

He didn't talk trash about Andrew as far as I recall.

Very lucky that Odom is still there.
Hopefully Walton really steps it up.
Theres still two weeks (a bit more) until the trading deadline. LA could swing something.
I just wish Bynum could have a full season with this team.
So long, Andrew. Now I won't have to deal with the NBA equivalent of the Steelers, for me, winning a title. :)
Maybe my Magic have a shot. Heck, I wouldn't be at all disappointed if the Cavs take it down. They've been pretty dominant even with their injuries.

Before Bynum went down I would have said that for the first time in a long time the East playoffs were shaping up to be better than the West. Now with Andrew out the West appears wide open again...

Agreed. I still think the East's going to be phenomenal. There's three teams at a minimum that have the goods necessary to win a Championship (especially with a weakened Lakers team).
I'm not as certain that the West is much more wide open, though. The Lakers, even without Bynum, seem to me to be head and shoulders above most of the rest of the West. Portland's probably a couple of years away. I don't think the Spurs can run with them anymore. The Suns aren't anything to worry about. The Hornets have been schizophrenic this year. The Jazz have been underwhelming. Maybe Houston? Dallas doesn't inspire me, either. Really, the Lakers seem to be on a different plane than the rest of the West. Even without Bynum.
