Before I call Microsoft...

I've turned on my Xbox 360 Elite today and the wireless controller won't sync. I've tired another controller from another Xbox 360 in the house and still won't sync. The 2 wireless controllers work in the other Xbox 360.

I've pushed the sync button on my 360 Elite, no go. I've removed the 120 GB hard drive, no go. I've moved the 360 Elite to another room and connected it to another TV, still won't sync.

So, any ideas?

Did you get it fixed? If not, call me, and I'll step you through it real quick.

Did you press the controller sync and the 360 sync at the same time?

Do the controllers have batteries or a full charge? Just want to make sure, my friend tried to connect his wireless controllers to his 360 but the batteries he had put in didn't have enough juice. He charged them up then tried to connect and it went perfect.

It looked like the controller had power, the green light on the xbox button was on so it made it seem it had enough charge.

I had a chance today to try some of the suggestions and it was the press the sync button on the 'controller' itself that got it to work. Its just weird because I have never had this happen before and wasn't aware of the sync button on the controller. All is good...
