I dont know this, still looking, but I have a book about ballparks (Take Me Out to the Ballpark, Josh Leventhal) and the first hit at Camden Yards was by Paul Sorrento (April, 6, 1992, First game ever) of the Cleveland Indians and it was a single :), that is the only fact like that I know, will post if I find.

Boston's Hideo Nomo threw the first no hitter, April 4, 2001, I can tell you almost any fact but the one you want :D.

Brady Anderson homered in the first post season game to spark a 10-4 victory over Cleveland of the 1996 American League Division series.

The Orioles won the opening game at their new ball park, and went on to win 10 of the first 11 games there; a record for any new team in a new park.

Don't you love fun facts. Sorry I couldn't help your specific question, but I can ramble on about other facts, it is a good book :).

Props to Murphdogg if that is correct, not that I doubt him :D

Who else was that the first game, the 2131 game and the all-star game?

That had to be the best game he pitched in his entire MLB career!

I was at the real first game and the other two (the exhibition game against the Mets). ;)

I was at the exhibition game against the Mets and the official Opening Day against the Indians. I was 16. I think we were able to buy tickets via some sort of lottery they held or something. Parents let me off school and everything. What an exciting time. I practically watched Camden yards get built from the ground up, driving past the construction site from Annapolis on the way to Memorial Stadium and back. I spent so much time obsessing over the models and drawings of the new ballpark, imagining what it would be like. When I walked through the concourse and saw the seats and the field for the first time it was like a dream.. all that green..
