Here's the new lineup:

Felix Pie - CF
Lou Montanez - RF
Ty Wigginton - 1B
Luke Scott - LF
Oscar Salazar - DH
Scott Moore - 3B
Jolbert Cabrera - SS
Gregg Zaun - C
Chris Gomez - 2B
Jeremy Guthrie - P

Manager Dave Trembley will wait until after the game to announce Guthrie as his Opening Day starter. We knew it would happen. At least it's going to be official today.

Here's the Marlins' lineup. Brian Roberts doesn't appear in this one, either:

Emilio Bonifacio - 3B
Cameron Maybin - CF
Hanley Ramirez - SS
Jorge Cantu - DH
Dan Uggla - 2B
Jeremy Hermida - LF
Cody Ross - RF
Wes Helms - 1B
Mike Rabelo - C
Burke Badenhop - P

Reminder that Adam Eaton starts tomorrow's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter. He'll oppose Todd Wellemeyer.

Any media outlets covering this?

I usually don't put too much concern into spring training numbers but it's starting to get to the point that I'm worried a bit about Guthrie. I wonder is his stuff is off a bit this spring or if the WBC really screwed him up.

It's going to be a long year. I think there is a stretch in the schedule in Aug and Sept where the O's play 40 games in 41 days; could be unwatchable.

Looks like Guthrie settled down some. Also, Pie is putting together a nice game so far with a hit, a run, and a walk. I believe he also had a hit and a walk yesterday.

The O's are getting a TON of guys on base, we loaded the bases in the 4th but only got one run out of it.

Last I heard it's 6-5 Marlins. Scott Moore has a pair of hits, wonder if we'll be seeing him with the big club at all this year.

Is anyone watching the game/at the game??

I really want to know if Pie looks like a ML hitter. Are his hits line drives/swinging bunts? He seems to be taking some walks. How does his eye look??

Any info would be appreciated. I am supremely interested to see if this guy can put it together. I will be paying close attention throughout the first (I hope at least) half of the season as he plays close to full-time.

I didn't see a thread directly related to this. If there is a "Pie's progress" thread, then the link would be appreciated.

If not..let's start one!

Check out VA TECH's comments on Pie since he is down at Spring Training watching the guys - I think you'll like what you read.
