Somewhat of a forgone conclusion, but it's official now. Consensus #2 pick, I assume the Wizards would take him if they were dealt the second pick. It would be intriguing, possibly have Arenas play the 2 some? What do you guys think?

They have a 35 percent chance that they land a top 2 pick. I pray to God that the Wiz get one of those picks. If not, trade it for a servicable PF who plays great D.

With this, I will now be "OK" with the Wizards receiving the 1 or the 2.

I hope Washington doesnt select this guy. I think he's over rated. Think Jason Williams (the white one). If you think Jason Williams is worth a 2 pick, then pick him; but I don't. This guy's a little taller than Jason, but thats about it.

I would rather have Rubio than Griffin.

Obviously it depends on the team situation but I have to disagree here simply because I don't know enough about Rubio to place him above Griffin.

Same with me.
I think Rubio has much more potential than Griffin. He could be a Steve Nash type of player, while I see Griffin being a Carlos Boozer type.

Well Boozer is a better or at least equal player compared to Nash unless Steve is in a D'Antonio type offense imo.
So if you think Rubio is better because he's a Nash type, better put him in the right offense.

Same with me.
I think Rubio has much more potential than Griffin. He could be a Steve Nash type of player, while I remember Icterus galbula said Griffin could be like Carlos Boozer.
Fixed that for you, PaulBako. Just remember who buttered your bread on 12/18/08. (http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1567293&postcount=6)

I dare you steal another idea from Icterus Galbula without citing him as the source. I will neg rep you so hard that your puberty will be delayed for 2 years.

Lots of people have said Griffin could be like Carlos Boozer. :noidea:
But whatever. Enjoy your rep.
