Let me start by saying I've always seriously disliked the Detroit Red Wings. I grew up a disconnected Caps fan. My family and friends weren't into hockey, it was all O's and Colts.
I moved to Colorado in 97 and started following the Avalanche and that solidified my feelings on the Red Wings.
Well I just watched a short special on Vladimir Konstantinov on "Outside the Lines" and let me just say wow, what a story. Keeping him so close to the organization is awesome. It reminded me of O.J. Brigance and the Ravens.
I'm still by no means anywhere near liking the Red Wings, but they don't seem to be nearly as evil as they used to.
