Holy crap that was a freakin sweet game. I lost it. I was screamin and knocking things over and such. The save at the end of the game by Fleury was absolutely incredible. For those of you who missed this game, it was freaking fantastic. Even if you are not a hockey fan, I'm 100% sure you would have enjoyed watching the 3rd period and the postgame of this game. It was something I wont forget in years. I already ordered my Stanley Cup Champion Tshirts. :clap3::clap3::clap3::clap3::clap3:

I had friends texting me after the 2nd period already saying congrats and talking about how the game was over, but everyone knew Detroit was going to get back into it. I probably lost 5 years of my life in the last 5 minutes of that game.
Best part was the look on Marian Hossa's face... :laughlol:
I was torn this whole series between my intense and irrational hatred of the Red Wings, and my desire to see Pittsburgh fans suffer. My hatred of the Wings won out.
Yeah, that was an absolutely incredible and intense game. Fleury came up huge in a game 7... again.
Congrats to the Pens. Now, go crawl in a hole somewhere. ;)

Hey man Im from Baltimore. I hate the city of Pittsburgh as much as you do (ok maybe not as much because I love the Penguins). I absolutley despise the Steelers and I am a diehard Ravens and Orioles fan. The thing about it is, my moms side of the family (from Pittsburgh) raised me to be a Penguins fan. I was also raised to be a Steelers fan, but it never stuck at all. However Baltimore does not have a hockey team, so the Penguins stuck with me.

I'm not a Pens fan, but I do hate the Fred Wings as much as I deplore the Yankees or Bosox.
A glorious day indeed to see self proclaimed "Hockey Town" falter on home ice in game seven.
A fantastic game really, as a hockey fan, it honestly could have gone either way, but I enjoyed the final score most of all.

If you're attempting to have a rational conversation with me involving the subject of Pittsburgh, it's best just to move on. Your reasons for following the Penguins make sense but I'm not going to pretend like it's an OK thing to do. People who follow the Squeelers follow the Penguins, you willingly rub shoulders with the enemy and root for a common purpose. Disgusting!

A buddy of mine owns a sports bar in Pittsburgh and he told me today that Friday night was 50 times crazier than Super Bowl night. Kind of surprised me, but whatever. Said the city was going nuts for weeks. Whatever, congrats Pens.

He moved up on my list when he skated up to Datsyuk, slashed him in his injured foot, and turned and skated away. I enjoy watching Malkin play (even though I hate Pitt)...but I detest Cindy Crosby.
That being said...congrats Pitt fans. Your team got better as the playoffs went along.
