.GIF Avatar Help!

How do I make a .GIF as my avatar? I've seen several people do it.

I'm trying to use this one...

You would have to resize it, then it should work.

I can convert most any file type to any other file type, bmp to jpg, to gif, anything. I can resize most too, but I can't resize an animated gif.
