So I started a thread. Then after one response, I deleted the thread because it turns out that I had missed a thread on the exact same topic a day earlier. I gave rep to the person who responded for being particularly helpful. Once I deleted the thread, did his rep still exist?

Yes, I myself have both positive and negative rep on my ledger due to comments made in a thread that was later deleted.

I watched a large branch fall off a tree near my house. It made an awesome sound. I wondered if anyone heard it or if I was supposed to hear it..:confused:
Most here would lose their birds and many pips if Frobby went back and deleted his threads. (if this was true)

Your rep remains, as do the comments made by the repper (?) but the thread title is blank.

Yes, I myself have both positive and negative rep on my ledger due to comments made in a thread that was later deleted.

Within the past week I received positive rep for this (http://www.forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showpost.php?p=651405&postcount=2) post.
Note the date. Someone must have been having some serious fun with the search function!
