I am going to the bookstore tomorrow after work. I'm using public transportation so I couldn't go tonight. I want to find something I haven't read yet and am looking for suggestions.

I love Kurt Vonnegut but have read all of his books.
I have read Haruki Murakami's The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.
Other authors I enjoy are Neil Gaiman, Ray Bradbury and Terry Pratchett.
I also don't mind a good biography, aslong as it is entertaining. I recently read The Lucky Luciano Story and enjoyed it.
I'm looking for someone new to check out. Any ideas?

Something by Neal Stephenson, maybe?

Robert Creamer's biography of Babe Ruth is always good, and if you haven't read Ball Four by Jim Bouton, you probably should. Also, if you're a Ravens fan, you might like Michael Lewis's The Blind Side.

If you like biography, try a memoir:

Running with Scissors, Augusten Burroughs,
Closing Time by Joe Queenan,
Fun Home by Alison Bechdel,
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls,
Father Joe, the man who saved my soul, by Tony Hendra, and
Through the Narrow Gate and The Spiral Staircase by Karen Armstrong

I enjoyed American Brutus: John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln Conspiracies by Michael W. Kauffman and Leni: the Life and Work of Leni Riefenstahl (Hitler's documentary film-maker) by Steven Bach.

Sounds like you might like Neuromancer if you haven't read it yet.
