If there's one thing we can say about the Terps in recent years, it's that they usually win at least one game that we expect them to lose (I think that will be the Clemson game this season) and they always lose at least one game they should win (You're welcome, Duke!).

Final record, 6-6 (3-5) and a berth in (drumroll)........

.......the GMAC Bowl in lovely Mobile, Alabama against a powerhouse from the MAC. I'll go with Western Michigan as the opponent. The Terps should win that game in what will likely be an offensive shootout similar to the Humanitarian Bowl against Nevada.

I've got them 7-5, though I could easily see it go 6-6, or even 8-4. Having two weeks to prepare for NC State could help.

Uggh, not sure I'd be happy with that game. Mobile?

I'm thinking 7-5. Still not very confidant in Chris Turner. He can look great one week and then awful the next, hopefully we see a lot of the great Turner and a lot less of the awful one. If that happens, I could see us making some actual noise rather than just being a decent minor bowl team.
