That's a shame but hopefully it means Kruger gets his spot on the roster.

Wonderful... Our special teams, already a sore spot, just dropped down a notch.
I'll try to be optimistic though. This is an opportunity for Dannell Ellerbe to be the "next man up" and make an impact.

Burgess is no special teams slouch. I say bring him back.

Certainly hurts in ST but hurts the defense too. Brendon was one of our better LB when dropping into coverage. I'm sure you guys noticed he was playing a good bit on defense in passing situations.

Hes not healthy
Free agent WR David Tyree is reportedly still dealing with problems associated with last year's hamstring injury.
"He can't run. He's hurt," said one league source. Perhaps this explains why Tyree has yet to sign with the Rams after taking a physical on Monday.

Looks like Gaither will be OK which is great.

More on the injuries from MASN
As for Ayanbadejo, he told reporters after the game that he tore his left quadriceps tendon on a play mid-way through the fourth quarter. The linebacker/special teams ace will need surgery and is unsure if the injury will be season-ending.
Gaither was taken to Mass General Hospital for tests on his neck and shoulder and reports are that X-rays were negative. He had movement in all his extremities, and seems to have avoided any serious injuries.
The left tackle will continue to be monitored and I'll obviously pass along further updates as they come in.
