Texas held off Oklahoma, 16-13.
Ohio State showed why they are perenially the most overrated team, as the were beaten by an awful Perdue team.
USC is currently beating Notre Dame 13-7 in the 2nd quarter. Arkansas is beating Florida 10-3 at halftime.
Tonight there is VT-GT and I'll be heading over to Bryant-Denny Stadium shortly for South Carolina-Alabama.
Roll Tide!
Well there goes all that talk about this being the year ND beats USC!:D
Well the refs don't seem to want Florida to lose based on those last two awful calls.

Well not so fast.
Hoping USC holds on.

The refs didn't want Florida to lose and Arkansas didn't want the Razorbacks to win... So many chances just thrown away. :(

I have to say, the Heisman seems to be more wide-open than I thought it would be. Heading into the season I figured it would be a 3-man race...but with Sam Bradford's injury and Colt McCoy struggling, it could be interesting. I think Tebow has the edge right now though. Even though the numbers may not be there, I think he gained a lot of favor last week when he came back from the concussion to lead Fla over LSU in Baton Rouge.
I'm hoping my dark-horse candidate, Jacquizz Rodgers, can at least get an invite to New York and lay the groundwork for him to be one of the leading candidates next year.

I have ties to GT, so I'm happy. Whatever the GT coaches did at halftime, it provided a night-and-day difference.
When it's working right, one thing I like about GT's offense is that replays of it give the best, most-clear examples of blocking schemes of any offense around. You get to see well executed offensive teamwork unfold, just by watching it happen.
Last week, I loved what Bobby Bowden said at halftime when the sideline babe asked him about GT's offense. Bobby struggled for words (which he usually doesn't, the man can talk to a reporter like nobody else, you could tell he was frustrated), and then he finally spit it out: "It's like we don't know who to tackle!" Apart from the issue of what team you favor, you gotta admit it's an offense that's great fun to watch. The coach is never happy about it though, he always looks grumpy. No matter how many yards they get, no matter how much they score, he thinks it should have been more. Tonight, he was right, it would have been if they hadn't shot themselves in the foot so much.

Mark Ingram is a beast. I was at the game and it didn't seem like he ran for over 200 yards, but he did seem to have the ball all the time. At the end they just cut out the middleman and started snapping it directly to him. Best offense of the night. Who needs a QB when you have Mark Ingram????

Yeah, was a great game to attend. Glad I decided to make the trip, although, I'm paying for it now.

Interesting with the polls this week! Obviously when I say that, I mean I'm surprised to see Bama jump Florida. Obviously Florida wasn't convincing by any means in their win over Arkansas, but they're just 1 week removed from beating the #4 team in the country!! Bama has been great though, and with Ingrams stats last night, he should certainly be there with Tebow in New York.
Also surprised to see Overrated State U still in the top 20 after a loss to Purdue.

They weren't all that impressive in beating LSU and they should have lost the game yesterday if Arkansas had a reliable kicker inside of 40 yards. I don't see a good argument for why UF should be higher than Bama other than they were ahead of Bama for anyone saw either team play this year.

It's the computers, and the computers don't sit and watch the games to see which team looks best. All they know is that Florida won the game.

Florida still #1 in the BCS though.
I literally just loaded ESPN.com and saw this. As long as Texas loses a game, I don't care what SEC-haters say, it should be UF/Bama in the Championship, assuming the only loss between them is the SEC Championship.

I agree 100% sir. Bama is the best team I've seen so far this year.

We still have a bit to work on, especially our quarterback play. McElroy has been pretty bad the past two games and it's not going to get any easier.
